Download sony prs-300 books to pc

I'm glad it finally worked for you but obviously that is not the intended way. I wonder if some other program on your computer is blocking it from being opened directly from Kobo. Hi kykboy, I work for Kobo and post on here from time to time. I think grooks is likely on the money with this. We run a separate server that hosts our ePub downloads that uses to get a little technical a non-traditional port instead of It is possible that your computer or your router or your company has a firewall that is preventing access.

We've seen this problem from a few customers and are working to fix it. If you continue to have problems and can't resolve it, feel free to contact our customer service team at help kobobooks.

When Kobo was Shortcovers, there was a sort by release date. Is that possible to add back in to Kobo? Also date publiched would be good. Not the eBook publish date but the original date of publish if different. Hi Jon, Love the avatars - do you design them by hand or is there some penguin avatar generating software out there? I'm not sure why we removed that feature when we did the switch over - there was likely a good reason, but nothing jumps to mind.

Let me talk to our web team and see what we can do. Are the sony sites always this awful to download from or is it just today or something to do with my laptop? NB, all other websites running fine. I have the same problem. Glad I had my sister download it two weeks ago. I would wait a little longer to try again. Yeah, it looks very much like Sony just can't handle the download volume right now; understandable, as these devices were probably a popular Christmas gift.

I appreciate the advice and have left the American Sony site in the dust for the much more affable European site!

I was able to download the library files in just a few seconds, thanks to you! Big Big thanks!!! Thanks for the link, it doesn't seem to support 64bit though It's wierd, the US site says 64bit is supported but not the European one. I tried downloading it and sure enough it won't install. Oh well, hopefully the US site will be up again tomorrow.

The e-book reader takes about 4 hours to charge fully from your laptop or computer or just 2 hours from the optional AC adapter. Also you can now handle additional number of titles than you could with earlier models, thanks to the additional file formats supported by the PRS This means you can read far more e-books.

The best part of the Sony PRS is its affordable price tag, without which you might not think of buying it, would you? It is positioned aggressively with an affordable price and come with features, which can win the hearts of enthusiastic readers joining the e-book community, who previously were reluctant to buy e-book reader due to a high price tag attached to it.

Catch the latest updates of this remarkable device at our e-reader forum. The reader will catalog the new books for five to 10 seconds; this is indicated by the rotating arrows and the word "loading" written at the bottom of the screen. Open and read the books you just added. Note that the Sony PRS is only compatible with the following file formats: ". If your PRS is low on power, leave the device plugged in and charge it for 40 minutes before adding any eBooks.
