The home players are differentiated by their lack of a price; since some of the home players are a year or more old and probably no longer available, no price is given for these players.
The prices for the other DVD players are the prices charged by the electronics store where we tested. A few observations on these results. First, the DVD-R media does fantastically well; the only player which failed to read it was my own personal player, a Toshiba that is several years old.
